The Books I Read In 2012
Posted on Dec 18, 2012 in Books | 4 commentsFor fun I decided to look at my Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Goodreads accounts to see all the books I read in 2012. (I borrowed or bought more than what is on this list, but these are the books I completed.)
I also looked into my library account but couldn’t access those.
Some of these books were beautiful, some were creepy, and some were holy. I didn’t agree with all the viewpoints represented but I’m grateful for how they expanded my perception of people and various worldviews. In addition to these books, I read the Bible in a year. It was the first time I ever did that.
I’d love to hear about the books you read in 2012.
P.S. Feel free to ask me whether I would recommend any of these to you.
Lucille Zimmerman is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a private practice in Littleton, CO and an affiliate faculty professor at Colorado Christian University.
She is also the author of Renewed: Finding Your Inner Happy in an Overwhelmed World. Through practical ideas and relatable anecdotes, readers can better understand their strengths and their passions—and address some of the underlying struggles or hurts that make them want to keep busy or minister to others to the detriment of themselves. Renewed can help nurture those areas of women’s lives to use them better for work, family, and service. It gives readers permission to examine where they spend their energy and time, and learn to set limits and listen to “that inner voice."

p.s. My daughter will tell you I didn’t quite finish The Invisible Heart: an economic romance. But I did get 90% of the way through it. What can I say….it was a book about economics!
I love this book list. I have read some of them and almost all of them are on my to read list. Which ones are your not to be missed top picks? Thanks!
I loved both of Shauna Niequist’s books, An Altar in the World, I’m Proud of You, Daring Greatly, Life Code, Ian Morgon Cron’s books, especially the memoir.
Reading 60 books in a year is impressive. I love the list.
